Redigitze footage at 24p instead of 60i

What a fucking nightmare esspecially since I don't have the Varicam deck to nab the stuff again. I was in a rush this morning because Pat wanted the deck for a shoot. Only had an hour to nap the stuff.

Okay what a week. First off I started Tuesday to work on the weekly infomercial for MaxWell Auto Group but ended up getting started at about 8pm. I cut a rough of it in about 2 hours and went home at 10. On Wed I went to the office to get my new Kona Capture card!!!!

The Kona Card is dead! That's what support is telling me after we spent three hours trying to install it. Today is NOT the day for this I need to digitize PEC stuff at 1080i and can't because the fucking card they shipped me is dead. SIGH! Well, I just spent $2100 on a Kona LHe card. Which will allow me to digitize at 100mbs varicam footage at full HD. I also can work uncompressed HD 1080p/i content with SDI i/o capabilities. I was just talking this weekend with Ed at Jasons party about the fact I didn't have one yet.....and here I just ordered it, I'll have it tomorrow morning ( Read more... )
