I have been out in the woods hereabouts, being shown the flowering plants by this gentleman, a great many ferns and a little small timorous grass-snake, which I am afraid my companions frightened.

I was looking for the original of my picture when I came upon this page, or site, as the case may be, illustrating the birds of Hawai'i -- in such exact detail, in such colours! omgsqueeee! What joy.

My first attempt had M. Janvier in the rôle of the bar wench, which struck me as a trifle too absurd even for LiveJournal.

Enough to make one dizzy.

My young lady wishes to render my thoughts on this as "omg squeeeeee!", which I do not find at all satisfactory.

This is utterly charming.

Not, of course, that I have any use for this anymore. *writes on hand*

I shall need time to grow accustomed to this arrangement, in which a "diary" is not in the least private (let alone daily), one may be "befriended" by those who profess to know nothing of friendship (good afternoon, Mr Malfoy; I confess myself surprised you deign to honour me), and it is tacitly accepted that one does not exist.
