So, you know that stuff that sits around and never goes anywhere useful? I have accumulated candles over the years that I feel I should keep in the event of a blackout, but really don't foresee using, ever. While putting away and organizing Yule stuff I decided that all of the random candles and holders that I don't like and don't want are going

Now let me get this straight; someone with a cat is planning to ORGANIZE their stuff so it can be moved????? For one, your fluffy baby WILL find a way to make a perfect nest in the middle of your box of glassware. For another, I remember once,when d and I moved many many years ago, we planned for months, ( ok, ok, SHE planned I said Huh alot,)We packed up the things that we didn't need to ever come out of their boxes first, labeled the contents on the outsides, and loaded them first so they could go into the tops of the closets at the new place. Enter our oh soooo helpful friends that unloaded the boxes, and "put things away for us" while we went to get them lunch. The moral here is organize and pack with care, but never leave your friends alone with your stuff.
