I watched that video and cried the entire way through. Not because I think the stories are so horrible, which they are, not because President Bush has been such a failure, which he has, but because I am so damned scared. Scared to hope that the United States of American might one day unite again and keep this generation from falling even further. Scared to hope that Mr. Obama will manage to live up to his promise. Scared that though my Grandfather worked three jobs, he qualified for food stamps while working for the US Postal Service, my father and mother managed to create lives far beyond the dreams of their parents, I'm scared that the promise that I was raised in might disappear if this country is not careful.

I'm scared to hope, but I'll keep on doing it anyway.
