Simply put last week could be considered hell on earth! I haven't posted about it yet as it will be long, but let me say I am glad to be home. I got back Monday night and have just been trying to settle down and recover. When I have the time later tonight or tomorrow I will post about it. I have to leave Friday for Milwaukee to rescue a bird, but will be coming right back. Whew...run run run.

How is your move going? All packed yet? You guys leave this weekend right? I read about your mom-in-law in your post when I got home....let me just say that it's not too late to run her over with a truck...you have my sympathies.

I am sorry that it was a trip from hell. :( And you are headed out on the road again??? How do you do it??? I am not looking forward to the drive to Ohio with the cats...but we will survive. Do you have any tips for traveling with cats??

We are about half way there with the packing. I can't wait for it to all be over. The monster in law thing makes me VERY unhappy, but I guess we will find a way to live with it. *shrugs*

When we drove 1000 miles from ND with our cats it wasn't nearly as traumatic for them as I had expected. What scared them more was the new house. Be careful how you intro them to the new digs. We had one go through a screened window that I hadn't seen was open, and we never did find him again. I saw the pic of your kitty in the travel carrier, and that is the right thing to do. Whether you let them out of the carrier in the car is something you can decide depending on how they are reacting to the ride....you don't want an upset cat clinging to the driver's head LOL(happened to my dad).
