[ The Dreamberry shows the cloudy sky; and then, tumbles wildly along the ground, showing dizzying shots of the grass and the sky again, before flopping upwards, showing the clouds once more. There's another grunt, a female's, and the Dreamberry goes spinning wildly a second time, landing face down in the grass ( Read more... )

[he was just walking through, still getting used to his surroundings. so imagine his surprise when he sees this girl with wings just lying there.]

...What are you trying to figure out?

[ The silence didn't go unnoticed. Gwendolyn was silent for bit before speaking. ]

My condolences, for the length of hard times that befell your land.

...It is good to know that it is now in better hands. [ That was the proper thing to say... wasn't it? ]

[he glances back at her and nods, his expression softening just a bit.]

It is. [sacrifices were made, but that was all the more reason why they had to keep moving forward.

but topic change.]

You said you wanted to hunt in the forests? While I have no personal issue with it, you could purchase food in the stores, as well.

I usually forage for fruit and vegetables in the forest. They move father fast, don't they? [ Man, she could really go for a Napple right now. ]

[ Gwendolyn looked to Tybalt. ] ... I am afraid I do not have any coin to purchase any sort of goods from this land. I haven't found a place to sleep yet--not really, at least.

[maybe he should have just taken her to a store. well she wanted to know forests, so it couldn't hurt to show her some, too.]

I believe we actually have some sort of currency in our Dreamberry. However, I'll explain that after showing you the forests and if you wish, I suppose I could help find you a residence as well.

Is 'suppose' short for you would rather not, Sir Tybalt? [Her voice hinted at something that tread the tightrope of teasing and perhaps a touch lofty. ]

[ Gwendolyn looked away as she spotted a forest. The Princess's look became more alert upon seeing it. ]

That must be it, yes? [ She didn't say anymore; the silver-haired maiden dive-bombed downwards, taking off like a shot towards the trees. ]

It does not matter either way.

[and yes it was, though he didn't have to say it. she was already flying downward and after a moment of wondering how a person could fly just like a bird, Tybalt descended after her.]

[ Before she hit the treetops, Gwendolyn shot out her wings from her hips. They caught the wind, slowing down her descent immediately. She jolted in the air, before swinging her spear into the air, knocking back the thick branches with the glowing blue crystal tip, moving down into the forest. ]

[ When she landed, Gwendolyn moved out of the way for Tybalt, looking upwards to catch a glimpse of how the large creature would maneuver. ]

[to be sure, the dense tree tops would prove some difficulty. however, nothing that either was not accustomed to. there was some openings, and the Dragon Steed naturally moved toward one of the large ones, diving at an angle through it with Tybalt crouch low over its neck. once cleared, the Dragon Steed straightened and gracefully soared through the trees, finding openings and spaces that one might not imagine or notice at first glance.

and that is how the pair landed on the grounded, the only disturbance caused by the occasional flap of the Dragon Steed's wings.]

I am impressed by how graceful such a large beast is. [ When Noctis touched the ground, Gwendolyn couldn't help but rest her hand upon him again as it stilled. She looked around the forest. ]

I wonder where the sheep grow.

[Noctis doesn't move away from the touch and actually takes a step closer to her, to which Tybalt makes no move or comment. instead he arches a brow at her question.]

Do the sheep "grow" where you are from? [like..from the ground? or clouds or whatever heaven is made of.]

[ The Princess glanced to Noctis as it moved forward. The Blue Blird finally landed on her shoulder, and she merely nodded to the Dragon Steed. She really liked this interesting creature. ]

From a Baromett seed, yes. You plant them, and they blossom into sheep.

[ A pause. ]

...Does... that not happen in the place?

From a seed? [..rather strange, but then again she seemed to come from a strange world.]

Unless this world is different, I believe they are raised like any other normal sheep.

There are some farms that have their own flocks, but I believe there are some wild ones. There may even be some on the floating mountain, but I cannot say for certain. Regardless, if you are to hunt, I'd suggest refraining those on the farms.

But how are... normal sheep... reared? Where do they come from? ...An egg, perhaps? [ Chickens came from eggs. ]

[...okay. he might raising his hand to his mouth and glancing a way. he may have made a sound that was either clearing his throat or a very, very small laugh. because the image of a sheep hatching from an egg was in some respects a bit comical of ludicrous.]

I see that you've never seen a an animal raised in the mortal realm. They are born straight from the female sheep.

Ah! [ Well. That was new--wait, was he laughing at her? Or... was she just hearing things? ]

[ The Princess stiffened up a little. She didn't know hwo to feel about being laughed at. It wasn't her fault things were different! She looked at Noctis as if he could do anything about his rider's faint chuckle, but in the end, the young warrior put it aside. ]

I suppose you will also tell me that an onionne and carroteer do not need to be hunted as well! If the fruits and vegetables do not give chase here, what exactly can one hunt in the woods?
