Okay. So I just got back from Paris. Besides the pigeon shit and beggers, there was a lot interesting and amusing stuff there. I saw the standard sight-seeing places, Arc de Triomphe, Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees, etc. But I also explored a lot of the banlieu (suburbs, or alteratively, the ghetto) and the backstreets, so that experience was a lot

Wow, that sounds great. If I were in Paris, i think I'd enjoy the backstreets and the real life way more than the usual sightseeing places, too!
