la_torre Sneaking around
There was something exciting in a forbidden relationship that had Ippongi Ryuuta completely addicted. It was the thrill of defying his danchou for the first time ever; the order to stay away from the members of the other team one he was unable to follow.
Since the first time he had seen Saionji Hayato, Ryuuta had known there was going to be trouble, he had just not expected it to be that kind of trouble.
He looked carefully around, checking to see if Kai was anywhere near. It bordered on paranoia, but his danchou had the ability to always be where you weren't expecting him. That was the reason he needed to be extra careful. When he was happy he was alone, Ryuuta signalled to the boy waiting in the shadows at the other side of the street.
Hayato ran to him, his face flushed from the cold evening air. "Where are we going, Ryuuta?" he said once they were both again cloaked in darkness. The river that divided Morning from Evening town was just a street away, but Ryuuta knew it was too cold for them to stay at the riverbank now that winter was coming. He had a better place in mind.
"I saw Kai leaving earlier this afternoon, so I think we can sneak into my school," he said with a mischievous smile.
"Your school? Isn't it too dangerous?"
"No, Kai probably won't return today," he said, Hayato was looking at him as if he had lost his mind and Ryuuta couldn't help himself, he grabbed Hayato's hand and pulled him closer, kissing him.
Hayato blushed, as he always did when they were together in public, but he opened to the kiss.
"Come on, it's just at the other side of the bridge," Ryuuta said pulling apart, their hands laced together. "It's too cold to just stand here."
They detached themselves from the protection of the shadows and ran to the bridge.
"Wait!" Hayato whispered urgently, stopping dead on his tracks. Ryuuta froze.
"Damn!" he said.
As he had thought before, Kai had a habit of being in the worst place at the worst possible time. They retreated again into the darkness of the alley.
"Look," Hayato pointed at the river. A boat was approaching and they both knew whose it was, "Why is danchou here?" he asked.
"Damned if I know," Ryuuta replied unable to tear his eyes from the bridge.
They could turn and go somewhere else or use another one of the bridges that crossed the river, but there was something odd about the fact that Kai was there and Kaoru had just appeared. As he had suspected, Kaoru left the boat and went straight to the bridge, stopping in front of the other man.
"What do you think they're talking about, Ryuuta?" Hayato asked after a minute, both of them staring at the strange scene front of their eyes.
"Us probably," he said, fearing the worst. So far they had been more or less safe on Hayato's side, Kaoru being an overprotective but kind danchou. Kai, on the other hand, seemed to hate everything about the other team, beginning with Kaoru, and his presence there spelled trouble.
They couldn't hear a word they were saying, too far away from the bridge for that, but their body language spoke volumes. Kai was angry and aggressive towards the other man and Kaoru radiated coldness and quiet irritation.
"Danchou is furious," Hayato said in a fearful whisper, startling Ryuuta.
"What?" he didn't look it to him, annoyed yes, but no more than that. Truth be told, he didn't think Kaoru was capable of any stronger emotion, but he wasn't going to say that to Hayato, who worshiped his danchou.
There was a sudden movement on the bridge and Ryuuta realized shocked Hayato had been right. Kaoru was furious; he had just slammed Kai against the railing and was shouting something at his face.
"What's happening, I don't un-- What!?" Hayato gasped, his hand squeezing Ryuuta's almost painfully. On the bridge Kaoru had kissed Kai; had they not seen it with their own eyes Ryuuta would never believe it.
"He's leaving now," Ryuuta said stupidly, too shocked by that turn of events to do anything but stare and hold on to Hayato's hand like a lifeline. "Oh shit, Kai is--"
He was almost convinced that Kai was going to go after him to hit him, but he was mistaken. That hypocrite! Ryuuta narrowed his eyes, suddenly annoyed. The nerve of the man, trying to force him to break up with Hayato while he was--only he wasn't, not before, Ryuuta was sure of that. There was something they didn't know and he had all the intention to find out.
"They're moving," Hayato whispered urgently hiding deeper into the alley. Ryuuta stayed where he was, convinced that even if he was dancing naked in front of them, their danchous would not see him right now.
"Let's go Hayato, we have to follow them," he said; he stopped again when he realized his boyfriend wasn't moving. "What?"
"What do you mean we have to follow them?"
"Don't you want to know what's up with them?"
"No," Hayato flat out denied. "It's their problem, not ours."
Ryuuta frowned, "It's our problem if it affects us, and it does. Come on, let's move," he tried again, pulling Hayato's hand. He didn't move.
"Ryuuta, they've gone to the yacht and they were kissing, what you think you're going to find there?" even in the darkness he could tell Hayato was blushing. He smiled. "No," he reiterated when he realized Ryuuta's intentions.
"Let's go, they're busy so we can use another of the cabins," he said feeling excited at the idea of doing something like that. That way, when the four of them woke up in the morning, Kai would have no more arguments to oppose their relationship, and for once they would be able to do it a comfortable bed. It was a win-win situation.
"No way, I'm not doing anything with my danchou in the next room," Hayato protested but he had moved a bit forward. His smile widened.
Ryuuta turned to face him and pushed him gently against the wall, kissing him again. He knew that Hayato was weak against that kind of attacks, and he took advantage of it devouring his mouth passionately. Hayato gave up with a sigh and kissed him back, his arms around Ryuuta's neck.
When he was beginning to feel a bit light-headed from the kiss he pulled apart, dragging the unresisting Hayato to the boat. It was a relief to be able to walk in the light after hiding in the shadows for so long; he noticed when they passed under some street lamps without having to run.
The boat was silent and dark when they reached it, Hayato stopped again.
"It's a bad idea," he said.
"It's not; we have nothing to lose."
They went inside, the light coming from under one of the doors marking the cabin used by their danchous. Ryuuta noted the door wasn't properly closed and pushed it open a bit.
"No!" Hayato whispered horrified.
Ryuuta couldn't have stopped himself even if he wanted to. What he saw, though, was burned in his memory forever. He closed his eyes and stumbled backwards, grateful for the presence of Hayato there.
There were many things that Kai and Kaoru were, but beautiful had never been one of them in Ryuuta's eyes. Not until that moment. Somehow the way their joined bodies glistened under the cabin's light, their clasped hands, their rough coordinated movements, and their focused faces was strangely compelling.
Hayato dragged him to the next cabin and closed the door as silently as he could, then he rounded on him. "Are you insane? Why did you do that?" he whispered angrily keeping his voice down in case they were heard.
"Did you see them?"
"Yes, it was--"
"Beautiful," Ryuuta breathed before leaning forward and kissing Hayato.
They stumbled on top of the bed, their kiss hot and demanding. He could tell, by the way Hayato was responding to him, that the scene had left him as shaken as it had left Ryuuta.
They undressed as fast as they could, fighting with the clothes in their eagerness to be naked, skin against skin. It had been too long since the last time they had that luxury.
"Ryuuta," Hayato exhaled against his throat when he settled on top of his body, is hands touching every part of his body on their reach.
He silenced him again with a kiss, their tongues sliding against each other while they rocked together, enjoying the heat and friction, their arousal building up. He knew he had to stop before it was too late, the wait and all that had happened that evening conspiring against his endurance.
"Ryuuta, stop, I want--" Hayato broke the kiss panting, "I want--" he trailed off, embarrassed.
The image of their danchous making love next door came to his mind, and Ryuuta knew what he couldn't say.
"Yes," he breathed. Reluctantly he disentangled himself from Hayato's body and rummaged through his clothes, going back to the bed once he had what he was looking for.
They were both too far gone to take things slowly, Ryuuta knew, but he had to at least try to be careful. Hayato wasn't really used to it, and he didn't want to hurt him. Taking his lips on a kiss, Ryuuta started preparing him, stretching him carefully while they kissed.
They also had to remember to be quiet, the knowledge that they weren't alone exciting them even more.
"Now Ryuuta, I'm ready," Hayato whispered, and Ryuuta withdrew his fingers and positioned himself.
Hayato bit his lower lip to keep silent while Ryuuta entered him, his face a mixture of relief and pain. He stilled. "Are you all right?" he asked concerned.
"Yes, don't stop," Hayato replied opening his eyes. He looked at Ryuuta and smiled.
Ryuuta pushed the rest of the way inside, holding still for a moment to give him time to adjust.
"Move."
He did, thrusting slowly and deliberately till he found what he was looking for. Hayato arched off the bed and squeezed his eyes shut, his mouth open on a silent scream. Ryuuta smiled and began moving faster, almost at the limit of his endurance.
He was completely lost to the feeling of Hayato under and all around him, his heat and that delicious pressure that was driving Ryuuta insane. He missed hearing his voice, those soft moans that only he had been allowed to hear, but this was even more exciting.
He bent down and pressed his mouth against his, unable to hold his voice for longer. Hayato stiffened and came, his moan swallowed before it left his mouth. Ryuuta didn't last long after that, the increased pressure enough to finish him off.
Catching his breath, he moved to rest next to Hayato on the narrow bed.
"That was--" Ryuuta began.
"Yes," Hayato said with a yawn. "I'm tired."
"Sleep then."
"But what if they find us here?" there was a note of concern on Hayato's sleepy voice.
"They will, in the morning. Don't worry about it, everything will be fine," he reassured him.
"Fine."
Contented, Ryuuta rested his head on Hayato's chest, snuggling closer. Things would be different in the morning. He couldn't wait to see Kai's face.
Though he would miss sneaking around.
