But I read all of Code: Breaker and loved it is HILARIOUS man. The main character is like. Mukuro and Hibari's love child. DURING THE DAYTIME. SMILING AND MAKING FRIENDS HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT (= during the night, flatline soul and just burning evil to ashes without discrimination.

There is also a drapey rival boi and a student council student who blandly walks around with bondage manga and talks about Punishment. SO. If you want gay.

BUT ALSO THE BEST PART IS THE MAIN CHICK. I AM NOT KIDDING. SHE'S A YAKUZA JESUS AND HILARIOUS AND I LOVE HER AN I COULDN'T POSSIBLY EXPLAIN IT BUT YOU'LL UNDERSTAND AFTER A CHAPTER OR SO IF YOU GO LOOK AT IT.

I also dipped into Saint Saiya: Lost Canvas which is terribly written but full of magical shounen boys and gay gay gay gay childhood friendships so I'll probably go back anyway.

Read The Graveyard Book. Nobody Owens starts off as a little kid yeah but he grows up and while he's a good guy for sure, his methods are questionable and unfair by normal standards, which I think makes things interesting. It's not a very long book, but a nice quick jaunt! If you take him from age 15ish you get a fun array of powers. You'd have to find icons for him though
