Not a lot of Avon time today. I briefly looked at a couple of abandoned WIP, trying to decide what I might want to finish before Yuletide assignments come out and while I am waiting for the Zola fic to come back from the beta. I concluded that for the MCU fandom, I am incapable of keeping my stories organized. For Les Mis, I have a done folder

I started a treat for Trick or Treat that's been rattling around in my head for a while but that I finally got a firm idea for. Once I really get cracking on it, it shouldn't take too long. I also started my Yuletide letter, insofar as it was just taking the two fandoms I would like to request again. I also have two (I think) new requests so I need to write those sections.

I think it's mostly treat-y (I don't think I do "tricks") but considering what lies ahead in canon it's possible it's a trick! There's some dramatic irony at play, at least. Sooo.... I don't know!

Because of a mod situation I wrote much less this weekend than I wanted to. But I did write and I had some more ideas how to solve some of the plot holes I'm facing and discussed some things with another writer who is writing the same universe I'm writing in and it was fun to hear where she is taking her story and how our plots differ greatly, but the characterisation seems to fall in line. XD

Smoothing out plot holes is a neverending process. I tend to find one and then open another. And that is so cool about talking to another writer. That's neat!

I managed to edit half of a 10k sex pollen fic that has been a WIP for more than half a year now. I'm determined to finish editing and post it this week, argh!

WOW. I don't know what's more surprising - 10K of sex pollen, or the fact you have a 10K story that is that close to finishing sitting in your WIP box for so long. Regardless - bravo for finishing!

Finished chapter 4 yesterday. I think it turned out pretty decent, actually, even if I do say so myself.

I forgot to check in on day 18, but I did write and have commented on the older post. :-)

A couple hundred words for me -- that's the typical pace for fic these days (otoh I'm writing quite a bit every day for the thesis, so it's not like I'm stalled on all sorts of writing). And yay for the apple preserves! (I'm planning to try out your bread recipe this week.)
