I am so fricking depressed. I got my trick or treat fic finished. In it, the POV character is reading a book and I checked my recip and what fandoms they like and wrote one of those books into the story. I got the grammar sorted out. I posted it

(I worked on Chapter 8 today. One day I will write something other than this WIP again, but not any time soon!)

Aww, I'm sorry. Sometimes that just happens with the prompts. I'm sure my recent exchange fic was also a bit more... ehm, cheerful than my recipient had been going for with their prompt. I hope your manage to sort this out though. ;( This can be seriously stressy.

Had a much better writing day yesterday and I think I'm on the way to resolving the last bumps on the road to the final draft now. Hopefully.

Heh. Yeah, I go the other way. I tend toward depressing when people want happy endings.

I wrapped up two scenes yesterday. Only 2 more I think and I will be done! :D
Then I can finally get to my other WIPs, which should be interesting since I haven't touched any of them in a while.

That's too bad about the story. :-( You could post it without gifting it? And there is still time to write something new -- Trick or Treat is supposed to be a low-pressure exchange, after all.

A few hundred words for me, but the fic is already longer than I'd have thought, and still wants to be more serious than I'd planned. Oops.
