I'm glad Hermione didn't 'lie' but rather took the bull by its horns and went the other way, yes we were in danger, but we chose to be so.
The 'Damon and Pythias' is cute. I had to grin when she had to use it a mere two sentences after the phrase was introduced! :-) Cute. :-)
“You’ve-you’ve been the best friend anyone could ever have.”
*ALWAYS* happy to see Harry come to his senses and appreciate just how wonderful Miss Granger is. It didn't happen much in the books. (Rowling did bung in one or two "you're brilliant" lines in the last book I think.)
What about the basilisk in Second Year or -
What about it? Harry didn't save her life that time!
even thought wildly of casting a spell on him or erasing his memories or something-but no, she couldn’t do that to Harry.
Whew. But she *did* do that to her parents. One of the things that the anti-Hermione camp regularly bring up (I've had extreme fans condemn her as a 'sociopath' for mind-wiping her parents).
So glad to see more of this...the long, rich conversations, the clever ways you find to use Ron, that wonderful bit with Lily and Remus. Greatly looking forward to more.
