No, she really really shouldn't. And Gil may try, but he can't quite keep the concern out of his voice as he says, "Hello, Anne. You're out late."

She doesn't look back at him, just quite.

"It's a lovely night."

Her voice is dreamy and wistful. She doens't seriously belive there's anything out here that will harm her.
