1) You know, one thing I, at the time, don't want for finale to happen is Tyrion and Sansa ending together. I like Tyrion, and I love Sansa, and I think at this point she really really doesn't want to be married to anyone. Well, she could be The Queen of the North and he could be The King of the South! :)
2) Otherwise, I am rooting for the giant flu epidemic (Spanish/Dornish?) to wipe out all the rest of Westeros population. It would be both shocking and realistic. WIn-Win! I'm still holding out for the oppressed masses getting rid of all the rulers and creating an anarcho-syndicalist commune (as per Monty Python and the Holy Grail). A plague would also be fitting though. I have wondered how they all eat, what with all the constant warring? Are there farmers throughout the land that have NOT been pillaged and burned or trampled by armies and that still produce food?
1) Yes, and they can have happy non-sexual relationship full of snark and respect!
2) I think Dorne is more or less ok, but I have no idea about its economy. Winter is still there, and I have no idea how people on that continent can be reasonably expected to survive it even without zombies and dragons and extra wars... plague would be a mercy killing by now.
