I just finished Uncle Tom's Cabin, and I don't know what people had been complaining about; it was an amazing book. I loved it. To those of you who haven't read it yet but have to for summer reading, do not despair. It's really an excellent book.

Don't sweat it Jeannie. It's amazing. Some people said it was slow for the first hundred pages but that's not really true. It's not that it was slow at the beginning, but the pace picked up quite a bit as it went on. It's a really great book.
