My door's back on its hinges and ready to go. Since my last post, I have gotten into CHERUBS and will be in Chicago, city of music, food, improv, and theater, for five weeks over the summer. For the last week the whole door knob mechanism of my door hasn't been working, and so I've been doing my best not to close it. Well an hour ago I stupidly closed the door because I wanted more quiet. Loved Avenue Q and Wesleyan. Unimpressed by Connecticut College. Intimidated by Columbia, not that it matters because I'd never get in. Disgusted by NYU-sorry Jessie and Vanessa. Not the place for me. All in all, good trip to New York.

I wasn't really that sad last night when I saw all of the seniors crying, or even when I left the cast party, but when I woke up this morning it really hit me. This show was so much fun to perform, and after each performance I felt closer to the cast. One of my dad's closest friends has just been hired as George Bush's Commissioner of Social Security. In one month there will be a ceremony at the White House to swear him in. I just saw 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with the family. What a fantastic show. So funny. Good stuff.
