Bad Things Happening

Bad things are happening in Japan! Donate 5-10 bucks from your cellphone! C'mon, do it! I did! I think it's kinda funny my mother thinks me being charitable is stupid because I only work part-time and I'm a student. She won't even give anything; she's just focused on accumulating money for the household. I'm more christian than she is, and I'm an ( Read more... )

I just started watching Puella Magi Madoka Magic too. I don't usually watch magical girl shows but I saw a screencap of one of the witches' places (what are they called?) and it caught my attention. It seems interesting so far.

I just finished episode 3 recently and I can't believe that happened to Mami either. It's really surreal to see a magical girl show go through with that--and in the third episode, no less!

She was so nice. And confident. And alone. ;_;

The witch levels are what drew me to the series, too. The artsyle gets so delightfully demented. I really love watching this show since it's so visually dynamic.

I caught up to Madoka magica on the weekend and ASGSHFL I'm still in shock with how different it is from the it's genre. To be honest, I don't even know how it would be possible for that story to have a happy ending ):

I already donated $10 for the Japan cause but it still breaks my heart hearing all the news.

In Madoka every end is BAD END. (◕‿‿◕)

Seeing the pictures of the towns decimated by the tsunami is depressing. And now it's snowing over there...life has stabilized over in Tokyo though, I've heard.

I think the Fukushima reactor is probably the most pressing of their problems right now. Most relief efforts seem to be underway.

Quite a few bronies seem to have stories like that, where FiM changed their lives for the better. I just see it as a really well done show, but I'm glad they're getting something good out of it.
