if only I'd had my morning coffee!

I wouldn't have imagined that less than 240 ml of coffee could possibly make such a mess ..
.. except that, in attempting to catch the dropped cup, I nearly succeeded -- in such a way as to spray coffee across the room, such that the cup hit the floor before the coffee hit everything.

You sound as graceful as I am. ;)

I shuddered when you wrote that you were pushing yourself with your ankle injury. (I managed to mess up my R ankle three times in the same decade, which was doubleungood).

Two of my friends, both under five feet tall, once lived in a hobbit hole. I cherished them dearly. They must have loved me, too, to invite me over. My natural grace, in close quarters, makes for property damage. (I consider that a stochastic event, but not everybody is so philosophical).

Things within a 5 foot radius of me tend to break.

Not sure what a hobbit hole is, as it relates to a real life abode.

I bet you break hearts at farther than five feet.

I meant hobbit hole generically, as in "any human habitation with minimal clearance and round windows." That particular manifestation was an ancient trailer that probably never trailed after anything. My hobbity friends made very efficient use of their space (except for whenever I was around to create more space inadvertently).

Ok...so my boyfriend told me the other day I wasn't allowed to play basketball...because I miss the garbage can...and I did it spectacularly the other day, with a fully loaded and sealed yogurt parfait that had been left out...WHAT a mess...all over our new laminate floor in the new house...sheesh...

btw...I have seen comments in a friends journal, that's how I saw this post...I am joan, and might add you if we knew each other...

I don't know the rules to yogurt basketball. Does that count as double dribbling?
