Oh, you poor dear. I've suffered from bronchitis a couple of times, so I know how absolutely debilitating it can be, especially if you don't have the luxury of ample R&R. (I had it when my oldest was 7 months old - no rest for the new mommy...) But you muddle through somehow, don't you?
Great news on Jane's continued improvement, too! It's very neat how she can recognize her own improvement. It didn't seem like she could see it very well before.
Ah, dear , yes, muddlng through seems to be my way. This for some time now, and even more so with bronchitis. Jane vascilates on seeing/not-seeing her improvement, but I do think she's leaning a bit more toward seeing it. The challenge, now, is more her also seeing how far she is from where she wants to be. But as we tell her, she has made so much progress, and continues her progress steadily.
Thanks for *hugs and prayers*, and I'll try to remember the chocolate, since R&R is definitely not in the books for a while.
Thank you, Kate. I was beginning to get phonecalls in my therapy sessions from people who hadn't heard, so I figured I could bring myself up to at least this much of a response. And yes, it's so good that, through all this, Jane continues to improve. (Poor Jane -- she was so worried about me.)
I hope the Bronchitis is better now, you must look after yourself. So many and so much depend(s) on you. You and Jane need a holiday, you know. Take care. Love and hugs. Kate
Poor avus! Chest infections are rotten. *hugs* Hope you're feeling better ASAP, and in the meantime I suppose it must be nice for Jane to get to take care of you a little, even if it's just with coffee-in-bed...
I think bronchitis-healing, ASAP & me are not a likely combination. But I do continue to improve. Jane, I fear, was more worried about me, though she did, and still does, do some things to take care of me. Thanks for staying in contact, dear jennyanydots21.
it's not so surprising i suppose that your body decided to take a break. it's so difficult when your resources are being used so constantly to deal with an intense situation.
jane just is wonderful. i love reading her articulation of her process. it's such a blessing to share it.
Well, I'm not "on top of things", but I'm definitely feeling better. Jane & I went on an extended, though fairly level walk this afternoon. Good for both of us. I'm glad you enjoy & appreciate her understanding of what's happening to her, and yes, she is indeed wonderful, as well as remarkable, beautiful, and oh so loveable. Thanks for keeping in touch.
