Dear Friends,

Yes, of course, Jane is improving. But I've been having a hard time saying her improvement. Les & I both notice it -- really, the last month, it's been dramatic. But that improvement doesn't come in easily packaged little units that I can write. It's more like steps in a Great Big Whole, showing Jane coming ( Read more... )

Yay! That is so exciting that I can hardly stand it.

Kudos to Jane and the rest of you for ignoring the "professionals" and doing what needed to be done. 'Miracles' happen every day. I'm glad Jane was one of them.

*hugs* in return, dear magicofisis. And yes, it is exciting, a very special kind of exciting. I think, perhaps, in a way, I didn't report progress for a while, b/c of those damn "six months" predictions, and my seeing continued good, even better progress, and not wanting to jinx that or something along those lines. I am, indeed, a silly old fool. And Jane is my miracle.

You know, my father always said my mother and I were "hard headed". I hope that I am, because it seems that it's Jane's determined hard headedness that has kept her going, with her family's love and their own hard headedness too! You guys are so cool!

Oh, she's very clear that the better she gets the feistier she gets. Which is not always fun, but always reassuring. Hard-headedness is well-distributed about our family.
