The silence is broken
Okay, so it was never actually silence, but I have not gotten feedback on my dissertation in what feels like a LONG time. Like several weeks...
And so after a glorious week of spring break (which included working two days-- but that's another story) I finally got back the next chapter from my dissertation chair today.

In other news, I found a $5 bill that was resting on a pile of slush in a parking lot.
And then a few hours later, I found a page of three unused U.S. postage stamps resting on a pile of slush on the street in our neighborhood. -

I didn't see this coming at ALL. I've been too busy plowing through revisions to notice things like the weather, I guess... -
