[With a heroic flourish, Merlin attempts to yank the sword from its sheath. But it mostly kind of fails.

The sword clatters to the ground, ringing out across the plaza. Merlin groans in frustration.]

[James' chilling on the other side of the fountain, writing his most recent notes down, but of course speaking loud enough that the young wizard can hear him]

[He looks over, across the fountain. Merlin looks considerably confused, considering he hadn't taken his journal with him when he left the apartment this morning and therefore does not realize that the...creature is addressing his question, directly.]

H-help? [He stammers, shaking his head and letting the sheath drop once more against his back while he straightens to address the stranger.]

What? [He laughs--uncomfortably.] This? Oh, no. Not at all. Easy as pie. Not even a bit of trouble.

Every good knight needs his sword. [He kinda...wobbles after being run into. His balance isn't so great with Arthur's weapon slung over his back like this.]

[Tonks never has good balance, so why she's attempting to do something that might resemble a ballet is anyone's guess.]

Ah, but--this morning? I saw Arthur's sword and I just...knew. I should be a knight. I know most knights have an awful lot of training, but I think I've watched Arthur train enough. I practically know all of it, anyway.
