24th Wheel of Fate [Action]

[Just what has ν-13 been doing the past few days? Not much, frankly. In fact, she's barely left her room this week - she's been working on a little project of sorts. But today? Today's different.

Around noon, one might spot the silver-haired Murakumo wandering through the town, armed with a black sling bag. Specifically, she's heading for the ( Read more... )

[You know the library isn't his scene and I don't want him to be pesky about the clothing choice but the space between where one gets books and one gets clothes? That's totally his domain. And on seeing that girl he met during his little spree shortly after his initial arrival, he - well he races on over!]

Nuuuuuuu-chan!

[...That voice. That's... the New Feather from the other day, isn't it? The one that kept talking about nonsense. Not someone she expected to see again for a while, to say the least.]

...? [Regardless, though, she's at least stopping in her path, simply giving Kida an inquiring look for the time being.]

You're looking as lovely as ever today~!

[Might as well start with the good line. And that, my friends, was a great line.]

[...Yeah, it's definitely that New Feather. And he's still not making any sense to her. Asking didn't go anywhere last time, though, so she'll just... give up on that and ask about something else instead.]

...Why are... you here? [She didn't really expect to run into a familiar face, frankly.]

[And unlike Nu, her roommate has been leaving from time to time the past few days, though mostly when she's asleep.

But he'll be around when she returns at least.]

[Well, it's not like that's an issue. He's free to leave when he wants to, after all.

When ν-13 does return, she'll actually try not to alert him right away - instead, she'll try to go to her own room without him noticing. There's still one thing she wants to do before talking to him.]

[Yeah, they discussed that, but obviously he's still wanting to stick around to some degree for some reason.

But yeah, he probably can tell she's home, but if she's not wanting to talk to him quite yet, that's fine and he's not going to say anything to her. He'll just hang in another room for now.]

[Not that she minds that at all. She might have a tendency to worry about him, but having him around is still kind of nice, all things considered.

And if he's not going to say anything, then she'll simply head off into her room for now, closing the door. Sure, he could still teleport into the room if he wanted to, but she's hoping he'll get the idea.

She'll come back out in a few minutes, but until then, the door's staying closed.]

[It's been awhile since Albert's really perused the library, and he's had more reasons to look up some texts than in the past. He is quiet as he goes through the shelves, though aware of other nearby patrons.]

[ν-13, meanwhile, is currently going through the shelves as well, looking for a book that may prove to be an interesting read to pass the time... though it doesn't look like she's having any luck with picking one out - there's just far too many books to choose from. Occasionally, she'll even use her hovering ability to reach a book that's particularly high up, only to put it back again after looking at the back cover and reading through the first few pages.

She won't notice Albert just yet, as she's a little distracted by her search for something interesting to read; he's probably more likely to notice her first, especially since her occasional hovering is... rather easy to notice, to say the least.]

[Albert is actually in the process of turning away from a bookshelf when he notices the petite girl hovering next to a shelf. He pauses, book still held slightly aloft, as he had just chosen it. But it doesn't take long to regain his composure, and he watches the girl with some vague interest.]

[She'll pick out another book after a moment, carefully hovering down to the ground once she does. Before beginning to leaf through the first few pages, however, she turns to look around - it feels as if somebody's looking at her her.

And sure enough, it's not long before she spots the older man nearby. There's no signs that being watched actually bothers her, however. In fact....]

...? [The only visible reaction she shows aside from looking around is the inquiring look on her face once she notices him, and more likely than not, that's just due to her own curiosity as to why he seems to be watching her.]
