[It's been a while since ν-13 returned from her mallynapping. Beyond interacting with a few people and briefly attending Luka's concert, she hasn't done all that much since - or rather, she hasn't done much that would affect most people

[It's been a little over a week now since Jin first arrived and he's taking a walk, trying very very hard to not bother Ragna (it doesn't help that he has no idea where he is) over the journals or in person. Besides, he has Yukianesa and he knows his brother will disprove (as usual, but he just doesn't understand) considering their conversation back when he first arrived. The thing is, Yukianesa may be in his possession but it's still just as bad as not having her (technically, anyway)-the weapon simply will not activate and he has no clue how to take his brother's words from back home to fix this little issue. He's sure he'll figure it out eventually, albeit a frustrating issue to deal with ( ... )

[...She'll use the opportunity to dash toward him once again. Rather than rely on her Drive, this time, she's going for something a little different - once she's close enough, she does a sweeping kick aimed at Jin's feet, accompanied by the eight blades that were previously hovering at her back to make the attack a little more effective. And if he doesn't block this...

Well, let's just say the result will be anything but pleasant for Jin.

Specifically, if the sweeping kick connects, she'll follow it by deploying a gravity field below him - and quite possibly hitting him with her hands as she does so - which will cause him to move more slowly and float a little. This is followed by her sweeping her blades at him in a downward arc, then jumping up into the air after him and spinning twice to slice at him using the blades at her back yet again. That is followed by another crescent-like blade intended to smash him back down to the ground, and once ν-13 lands as well, she'll do a low kick to knock him up into the air again. Jin is wasting absolutely no time to get involved in this fight now and he goes to dash forward to meet her halfway, about to withdraw Yukianesa for a nasty slice at her after he dodges that sweeping kick and blocking the blades...]

[...Except it never happens. He stops dead, eyes narrowing in a silent response to a sudden immense amount of pain-and it's not the one from his wings or current injuries (which weren't even that bad...). It's so excruciating that he can't even move, not until the Murakumo Unit does it for him, sweep kicking him off his feet.

The rest is just a flurry of attacks, and as each one connects, he's not sure if they hurt more than the pain he's already experiencing. He has absolutely no idea where it's come from: he was injured back home but the butler of that witch had helped him take care of that...

...Might it have something to do with this sudden onslaught he's feeling? Some kind of side effect? If so, goddamn them for not mentioning such a thing!

Jin's completely dazed by the time she finally knocks him down to the ground once more and he curls for a second, instinctive fetus position at the pain plus the extra pain Nu's dealt to him now before rolling onto his stomach and trying to get up. ]

[That's strange.... Her onslaught just now was a few steps up from her initial attacks, but even so, it shouldn't have been enough to knock him out so easily. Her scanners didn't report any injuries on him prior to their fight either, so... what is it that caused him to collapse so quickly? How odd.

But she's certainly not complaining. This speeds things up a lot, after all.]

Processing... Target's strength at negligible levels.

[...She might as well deactivate her armor now. There's no need to leave it on for longer than necessary, considering it makes her stand out that much more - something she's trying to avoid at the moment. The last thing she needs is someone else attacking her while she's still trying to find Ragna.

She doesn't leave immediately, however, instead looking down at the unconscious Jin one last time, speaking up briefly.]

...Just stay down. [If their previous fight was any indication, he should be able to recover from his injuries. They're not that bad, after all. In fact, knowing this place, it's not unlikely that someone will find him; odds are high that he'll be healed by someone before long.

...Now, to find Ragna. [Onward with her search. If fate's on her side, she might be just be able to locate him before the sun sets...]

[Sup guys. Tsubaki is just strolling by merrily when she manages to spot a Jin in the distance!

...Wait. Why is he lying on the ground? Why are people quietly stepping over him!? She gapes at the sight and she hastens over.]

Jin? Jin, are you-- [Once she's close enough to see the state he's in, her blood runs cold. She kneels down frantically and lays a hand on his shoulder.] --wh-what happened!? Jin, can you hear me!?

[Hearing her is the first thing that happens, pulling himself from that gray haze of unconsciousness. At first he thinks he's just hearing things, someone calling his name until it gets more and more pronounced, enough to recognize who it is.

He doesn't move at first, but he does mutter her name.] ...Tsu...baki...?

[He's not sure quite what happened when he finally opens his eyes, just noticing he is a bit sore, still, and that that pain he felt (how could he forget that?) seems mostly gone.

And then he remembers suddenly what had been going on before he passed out and he goes to practically jump to his feet, although really only manages to get into a kneeling position for now. Jin grabs at his head, trying to stop the dizzying effect of getting up too fast.]

...She's gone.

[Ugh is he trying to make it worse? Tsubaki attempts to get a grip on his arm to stop him, but it looks like he can't make it to his feet on his own anyway. It hurts just to see him in such a sorry state, but she can't do much more than hover nearby panicking and wondering how she's going to drag him to the clinic by herself...]

[He's thoughtful now, before quietly asking:] ...Is there anyone here from our world that (is a Murakumo Unit) resembles Noel Vermillion? [-that resembles Saya, he wants to say, but instead uses the next closest. He knows it wasn't Vermillion, but that's all he can ask in terms of identifying his opponent.] I think she was looking for Ragna.

Mmm, I don't need a doctor. [He knows how much of an added burden he'd be to her, otherwise. He's sure he's fine, though. He's faced a lot more damage dealing with Ragna. This one incident just happened to occur at the worst possible moment-- specifically, when Valkenhayn's "healing" technique wore off.]

Is she really a threat?

You do need a doctor, Jin. You were just lying sprawled across the pavement for goodness knows how long. [You even have footprints on your coat. :/]

...I don't know. I've never really seen her causing trouble myself, but Noel once warned me that she was unstable... And dangerous.

[Yet even if it's true, Tsubaki has seen that there's more to Nu than that. She even has some of the drawings of Hakumen that Nu gave her for Christmas up on her wall! But after this particular incident? ...Maybe they need to have a little talk.]
