My dad found the Spice Girls so offensively bad that, when I was nine, he sat me down and played me all the Sex Pistols songs he could find in order to save me from them. For that reason alone, I consider them cool. And Pete? Pete clearly wore a Girl Power t-shirt at the only gig his high school punk band ever played.
