...and this is just *exactly* what I wanted. I love how this just works so well, because you didn't go with the whole 'turning-the-ghost-into-a-real-boy' thing, which just makes me glad I didn't do it myself because I *would* have done that, and this is just so much more INTERESTING =D

I was really swept up in this, the whole time, thinking but... But if ghost!Ryan is set free, then what about Brendon, what about... and then the reveal is just, really fabulous. I *love* the parallel!Ryans, that was perfect - I love how there is pastlife!Spencer/Ryan, that really just *worked* for me, and I'll admit, I totally teared up at those parts with ghost!Ryan and James. And when ghost!Ryan said goodbye, and there was that whole kiss with Brendon, that was just really, yeah, I am a huge *sap*, and that just really, really got me, god

i think i kind of got caught up in the whole casper thing of it. but no, i never thought of actually making the ghost a real boy. :/ i probably would have if i'd thought of that and someone hadn't said "like casper!" to me when i'd first started.

parallel ryans, parallel spencers... i'm sure there's even a parallel brendon somewhere. maybe as a sequel.... haha, no.

aww, honey. i'm glad that i went back and did the porch swing scene in the end. like i told jz, it originally went a different direction and ryan and brendon didn't fall into it near as nicely as they do in this version. so i'm glad that i went with that, because i don't think you would have liked the other way as much. i'm glad that you enjoyed it, though. ♥

I'm not even supposed to comment on S! fics with my rping accoun but IDC. D.C. Because. This fic was just, amazing. And to be honest - at one look at the authors names I JUMPED RIGHT IN. (: I was so happy. And I was afraid this fic would be corny, or, or y'know, not well done, but it was PERFECT. It made me smile. Reaaaaaally big. ^^

the ghost actually tells brendon that his name is ryan, the second time they meet. i'm not sure if that's what you meant by him suddenly "becoming" ryan, but if you meant in the end, spencer does freak out because he sees the ghost and thinks ryan's dead. it's more or less a past life kind of thing, and brendon does mention that at one point.

and yeah, there was a casper movie? back in the day, with devon sawa and christina ricci. way back! in the day.

um yeah. casper totally came out when i was still young enough to think devon sawa was hot, ahahaha. christina ricci is always way younger than i think she is, though. like i've seen her in movies for so long that she should totally be more than five years older than me. and yet.
