You may know of my love of BBC radio programmes, and my love of Sherlock Holmes. So when I heard an ad for
'The Beekeeper's Apprentice', I thought I'd give it a go.
I'd read about the
'Mary Russell' pastiches, and how very divisive they were, but I have a high tolerence for less-than-ideal entertainment, so I thought it couldn't be as bad as they said.
Five minutes in and Mary had already perfectly deduced Holmes, and he'd failed to realize she was a girl dressed as a boy.
Nope.
In other news, Mum is going to give Sherlock a try tonight. She likes Elementary a lot, so hopefully she'll enjoy Sherlock as well. Though it's okay if she doesn't.
I've also reached point where my characters are starting to be versions of my versions of the characters, so I think it's a good time to revisit the source material.
