this pastweekend might be one of the best that i've had in a while:
friday i worked and it flew by since i didn't take a break and i got to
actually do things. Even though i had to be there at 7am, cait walked
with me on her way to the bus and it was a nice morning stroll.
At night lynda, evan, bill, andy, dj and i went to see a wilhelm scream
at the webster. iam not sure how i feel about it but even though i
didn't like them too much, i liked spending time with my friends.
best things of friday:
sunrise walks, 99cent power, loob toob, friends friends friends.
i was supposed to work on saturday but we are short for payroll so they
cut me and now iam not on until next saturday. which is ok. i dont even
know what i did on saturday....i think hung around and did homework for
painting class. yes. then me, melissa, and cait met up with richard j.
and jill and 2 others to eat some food before OKGO! then we met up with
paul and steve and went to the show. it was nice, and melissa is the
cutest in her little skirties. and i love cait for dancing to a band
she didnt even like. OKGO! sounded really good and although i
didnt know alot of the songs it was still enjoyable...i just didnt like
when he called himself a rockstar, a little too cocky for me. but then
one of the most awesome things that ive ever seen at a show, they did
an encore and played their new single and did the entire dance
choreography to it, it was nothing short of amazing. afterwards we went
to rudys and i saw my frites man and drank a beer and it was nice, i
miss rudes, havent been there since nov.
best things of saturday:
kareoke ondemand, skirts, no work, dancing, locking legs under tables, friends friends friends.
sunday was another mellow day, didn't do anything much....went to bar
and saw a nice band, called Up The Empire...they were quite enjoyable.
got to see liz and brian so that was a plus. then came back and watched
flava of love with paul.
best things of sunday:
sleeping in, singing saves the day on the walk home, flava flav, glittens, friends friends friends.
This weekend i think i saw just about everyone that i care about [that
lives in CT] and iam thankful for my friends, old and new. i also had
the luxury of seeing 3 shows on 3 different nights and not paying any
money for any of them. and to top off the weekend, today i got an $800
check from fuse and my flash mx book in the mail.
things seem good, maybe we're onto something here.
