I've been church-hopping since arriving in Richmond (two Presbyterian churches and a non-denominational church), not settling on anything because I knew we wouldn't be living in this section of Richmond very long before finding a different apartment or a house. To be honest, a lot of weekends we aren't even here - we visit family fairly often. Well

I'm not well versed on the differences between denominations, but it seems to me there might be other denominations more similar to PC(USA) than PCA is, at least on major issues. Lutheranism, for instance--I'm sure it differs from PC(USA) somehow, but not in any way I've ever noticed.

Yeah, the main difference I've found between Lutheran and Presbyterian churches is in how they run their services rather than theological stuff. They're definitely more similar to each other theologically than to Baptist, non-denominational, etc churches. It's a good idea, though, I should visit some more of them.
