I seem to have been reaching out to several different people I've known for a long time lately hoping to just connect with someone. It's so lonely here. Weekends are the best
I'm just relaxing because I feel like that's the best use of my time right now. Gonna walk the dog in a little bit. Got so much on my mind. Feeling like it's time for a vacation. Seriously. I guess I need to get away from seeing the same old stuff day after day.

Well that escalated quickly
So I prematurely got sent to a new job, but the unit desperately needed it. I am doing my best to hold it all together. It's been rough, and I use that term loosely.
My report date to school is July. I should be preparing myself mentally but I'm not. Instead I'm being overran by other things in life. I am preparing physically however, as much as I ( Read more... ) -
Everything has changed
In the past week.
Getting these privates has created the longest hours I have ever worked. Yet, at the same time I am getting time off here and there. Most noticeably, having 3 drill sergeants in the platoon is weird.. Me not having to do EVERYTHING is a nice change, yet I still do a lot and I'm still exhausted. It's hard to explain.

Seriously the coolest video I have ever seen. This guy is a crossfit coach/gymnist & he puts cpt b to shame. This video makes me want to leave the army & move to San Francisco so I can train with this guy. Everything looks challanging but super fun.http:// -

My daughter looks 4% more like my husband than me.. some website told me so.. Anyway, scared of finishing all my schoolwork this week cuz I got a lot going on. Plus.. I may not be heading to Florida for a vaca like I wanted to.. New pr today!!
Deadlift 205 lbs!!! I barely got it but i def got some strong freakin legs. I did that plus 60 light weight reps (135 lbs). And to think 6 months ago 135 was my max load, & for 2 of those months I didn't do anything at all! Deadlift is definately my fav lift, but I've been doing legs pretty much all week. I need to be doing more cleans or thrusters ( Read more... ) -
Today marks
The 2nd worst day since I've been home, easily. I don't want to count days like that but I'm at my wits end. Chris come home, I can't take it anymore.
