Ok, what would you do if you were me?

About two weeks ago, maybe a little less, I was talking with the guy and thought it would be fun to go to a baseball game. That's really the only time I pay attention to baseball. It's boring to watch on TV, and I don't have any opportunities to play. But being at a game is kind of a fun experience.  Anyway, not a day or two later, a friend texts

i think you did the right thing not going. you would have been bummed if you did go, just wishing you were with your date instead of all these people you didn't know. besides, i know how much you love watching the national pasttime...

it sucks to be out of the cash, but I honestly think I would have been bummed last night because I would have been thinking the whole time about how he wasn't there with me.
