I'm almost done enlisting in the army. Knies finally talked me into it. I'm meeting with Staff Sgt. Martin tomorrow at the Armory in Elkhart to get down to the final details. Everything looks good on paper so far. We'll see if there's anything else that would hold me back from going to basic

Talk to whoever you need to about getting a shorter sentence because you want to join the guard. I bet they'd go for it.
