My little Buddy died on Thursday.

Aww, what a sweet tribute to a dear little friend ;-)) As I told you on Thursday, you gave him a wonderful, loving life he wouldn't have had otherwise. He and Shadow were very lucky and they now have each other to run and play with forever ;-))

Thank you. Yes, I know. I think that too. But then I'm trying to focus on how lucky I was to have them for so long.

Thank you for the thoughts and hug. Yes, I couldn't imagine that Bud was going to go too. It was much more of a shock than Shadow because I knew she was sick and so I kind of had time to try to prepare. I was leaning on Bud to be here now and I also saw this as his time to be first.
I don't know why it happened fast other than I wasn't seeing the symptoms maybe. Didn't take the cough as serious as I should have. He didn't seem in distress tho until Thurs am. Also the vet did an educated guess by how Bud looked, that it was cong heart fail. We don't know for sure.
Yes, the Xmas pics :-) I did that a couple times to them, poor things(g) Bud's like, just take the pic and get it over with(g) I like your "Moooooom..." lol
