State of Melly's Pups
I am writing this while feeding my tummy with a cereal bar and watching Pushing Daisies. I should probably warn for crazy.
John - Oh, baby. He's just had three of the most important people to him (who aren't his team) on the island disappear in the span of a week, and he's so close to saying screw it and circling the wagons. The second island was a bit of perfect timing in that he has a lot to distract himself with now, but that's not going to last forever. Especially not when he's made a promise to himself to at least be a little more honest to some degree. And probably only to Teyla.
So, right now he's being scarce, diving into his work, and spending a lot of alone time on the other side of the island with Cash when he has nothing to do. Because being alone with your dog is preferable to spending time with people who can just disappear like it doesn't matter.
John, you emo, repressive fuck. XD
Lionel - Is actually kinda content right now, which the opposite of what he was last year around this time. Next month will be his two year island anniversary, and he's going with it instead of being homesick. He's just moved into the boarding house to get some more privacy (which, lulz, will be shot to pieces soon, though Lionel won't be there), things are going good with Peter, and he's going to be an uncle.
I also realized this month that I should EP him more often so he doesn't get jumped on for tags, omg.
Karen - ALL HER FRIENDS ARE DISAPPEARING AND SHE HATES IT. I cannot get this across enough, LOL. She'll cope because she has to, she can't keep going around wondering if Nick or Paige or Lennox or Jim and Sam are next, because she'll go crazy, but that doesn't mean she has to like it.
Other than that, she's happily being adorable with Nick (I could thread them forever @_@), making booze with Paige, and soon she'll want to get together her own virtual rock band. She'll be lead singer, of course.
Catherine - It's kind of funny how she's so goddamn quiet until I post or tag her somewhere, then she's loud as all hell. And if I have trouble tagging her, I just have to look at her pretty icons and somehow that inspires me. Don't ask.
She's got the Council now, which she is pleased about, and she's sliding back into that supervisory position as liason between the lab and Council without really thinking about it. Lulz, if Ecklie were in charge of the lab instead of Bones/Abby/Grissom, there may be epic middle management battles.
I think we're going to the get the fingerprinting project going soon, along with taking pictures of island residents that Veronica's going to suggest, and Mohinder's idea about the island version of safe kits.
August is also her one year anniversary, woot!

Archie - My poor precious sailor went quiet on me, but he's louder now with the second island and regular trips on the Treader! He's happy to be away from war, but he misses being asea, and this'll help with that. He's also totally gleeful about Edward Kowalski-Hornblower! He's gonna be the best cool uncle ever. :D That kid will be a MASTER at getting into trouble under his wing.
He's just turned 24, and is happy to be alive.
Which I shall eventually shatter when I figure out some way for him to find out about his death. :D
I shouldn't be so happy about that, should I.
Becca and I are also working on making Archie and Bush's seats on the clue bus comfy, cause they might be there a while.
Awesome - When the fuck did Devon get more plot and shit to do than my other pups? OMG, he has an official schedule and all! He has PE classes to teach twice a week (and omfg guys, I swear I'll talk to ya'll about that, but he'll probably just have everyone playing whatever sports they can XD) and clinic duty Saturday nights, so he's never bored.
Serena's Fourth of July party is coming up, which'll probably take place by his volleyball court, and he'll happily put together a couple of teams to play. SHIRTLESS.
His item's coming soon, which I think he'll get when he and Chuck go camping on the mountain for a day or two. They can have The Talk up there, and all! :D
Then I think we can swing Ellie and Awesome waiting on getting married for just enough time to get season two of Chuck and A FREAKING LAST NAME FOR THE GUY.
Otherwise Ellie might just become Mrs. Awesome. Devon thinks it'd be an awesome last name to have.
Ned - ILU NED ILUUUUUU. Oh my god, do I love him. I just love writing and playing him, and he's happily (okay, that's an exaggeration) settling into island life with Chuck and now Olive and Digby. He's pretty much Chuck's breakfast partner on Saturday mornings now, and he'll be cooking for Serena's party.
And then people will die. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D
Ned and Chuck will finally realize they CAN touch, and there will be rejoicing. A romantic kiss. And then they're going to shack up for like, a month.
There's even going to be a tiny medical-related plot for Ned. It makes me lulz (damn you, Deense and Lina XD), and I don't want to give anything away right now. XD
The Futurrrre - FOX. Oh my god, she's so badass, guys, and it's been a long time since I played someone like that. But I think with Fox, she'll at least be a hell of a lot easier to play than Bourne, because she's a lot freer. She's had a fucked up past, but she moved on, found something to believe in and live for, and now...the island. I want to see how she'll do without The Fraternity, I want to see if she'll be able to live without a gun on her (unlikely), and I want to see how she'd be around Wesley. I want to see her and Lara Croft try to out-badass each other, too.
I've moved Ted back to Q4, after deciding that I really do need to fucking know what happens with Stella after the season finale. XD I also need to buy S1 and have a complete canon rewatch (and take notes) before I feel I'll be comfortable playing Ted.
Q1 will be Lipton from Band of Brothers, and I'm avoiding thinking about him too much right now, otherwise I might just find myself queue shuffling again.
BUT ANYWAY, if anyone has plot anytime and wants to include any of my pups, let me know! I'd be happy to. XD
