I applied here seriously almost a year ago at this point with an old account name (sweeetie_143) and was never exactly stamped and I kind of forgot about my application after a while...It's obviously been more than three days since then, so I guess I'm just going to rescind that application and reapply. So I'm back :D I think I've greatly improved since then.

I really like this layout! The graphics are unique, clean, and interesting. It's also very easy to find everything and read the text. Usually layouts that use that much white don't look very good, but I think that you have pulled it off very well. Nice! :D

Love! I absolutely adore how you used different graphics for each division of your sidebar. Your navigation is simple and easy. Your divider is really well done, I like that one a lot. Everything is wonderful, really.

The only downside is the bottom cuts off a little in Opera, but I can forgive that.

Sorry about the not being stamped thing, you should have said something at al_maintenance and we could've helped you! Six months is way too long to have to wait for a stamp.

Regarding the layout, I really love your dividers and sidebar. Honestly though? I like your userinfo a LOT more. I love the way the header in your userinfo is designed.

Uh... it looks strikingly similar to a layout called London Skies over at freelayouts. If other people in this community aren't members over there, londonlayoutsb has the layout I'm talking about up in it.

I suppose I should have explained when applying here that I got the idea from a layout I'd seen. In this post I explain where I got the idea from. I didn't think it'd be a problem since clearly the graphic manipulation and coding was all my own. Plus in awesome_layouts's userinfo it says: Please submit livejournal layouts made by YOU and you alone. There is no point in us grading someone else’s skills for "your" layout, so just don't. You will be automatically rejected if we catch you. *It is ok if you used someone's style or overrides as base, but no more. Again, I didn't think it'd cause any trouble. I'll take it down if it's an issue.
