This day just couldn't get any worse, could it? I mean, the ship sinking is already traumatic enough - the ship messing with your head is another thing. Seeing your best friend get slammed in with a piano just makes me want to cry.
It could have stopped there, but no. I have to find out Ryoma's injuries were far worse than I thought, and he's got

And who are you?
And what is JDF and who is Kite-san?

I'm Saeki Kojirou. I used to play for Rokkaku back in middle school and high school. My boat got thrown aground in a storm about a week ago.
JDF is the Japanes Defence Force. THey're the closest thing we have to a military. Kite-san used to play for Higa, and now he's part of the JDF. He was dropped out here for survival training as far as I can tell. No one ever came back to pick him up. He's living in the jungle, and he's not the most sociable person, so I'd recommend steering clear of him if I were you, Momoshiro.

How many people are on this island that didn't come from my ship? It seems pretty populated already. And there's no hope for anyone finding us, is there?

We'll be okay! I have faith that people will notice and come for us! In the meantime, being able to light campfires is a good skill to have too, in case we're stuck here long enough that the matches and lighters run dry. We'll be okay, for sure. We've got you, Momoshiro-kun (:

Yes, we should keep hope that people will come looking for us - of course they will. I mean, it's a cruise ship that crashed, that's bound to bring some attention. Look at the Titanic!
... I don't want to think about being stuck here long enough that I'd need to use my fire making skills.

I think we're a bit better off than Titanic. But you're right, it's Atobe's cruise ship at that-- if he disappears, the world would know.

True, Titanic sank all the way and almost everyone died. Wow, uhm, that sounds really grim. I'm glad that didn't happen. Real glad.
And yeah, it's Atobe, if they're not looking for us, they're looking for him - and that means we'll be found regardless.
