Have a wiki! Personality:
Scott Pilgrim, at the highest level, is a video game playing slacker. He's that kid at school that nobody likes because they think they're really cool, but they're not. They're the opposite of cool. Scott doesn't seem to notice that, in conversations or in life. Speaking of conversations, part of his awkwardness and dweebiness is related into the fact that he sees the world as a bunch of videogame references and tropes. This kind-of makes sense in his world, of course, but he references a lot of these tropes and conventions in day-to-day conversation.
He's also determined, to say the least. In the past, he was a jerk and beat up Simon Lee, in order to get Kim to go out with him. He also started a fight with Envy, which ended up with her breaking up with him. Also, in canon, he gladly beat up six of her seven exes SO FAR, and he's still determined (deep in his heart) to get Ramona back on his side. Even if he's going though a broken phase after she kinda vanished into nothingness.
Though he's 24, Scott still seems to be going though that awkward teenager phase. He has trouble talking to girls, and he also makes a lot of mistakes in other things like that. He's also a selfish person -- in his relationship with Knives, he never really seemed to show much compassion with her, and seemed to have trouble telling her the truth about Ramona. However, he knows he wants to move past this phase and heal. He knows when he's been hurt by something. However, even now, he doesn't seem to quite understand just how much he hurt Knives Chau in that year they knew each other. He's whitewashed his own past in his own mind, and sees himself as a paragon of virtue. Which, if you've been reading this, you know he's not. Oh boy, he is not.
Deep down, behind all this badness, Scott is a nice guy - when he tries to be, that is. As mentioned before, he's determined, and will really do a lot for those who he's friends with. He sometimes doesn't understand the consiquences of his actions -- and this tends to hurt those close to him even more, sometimes. He also tends to not try and stay in the past, to not learn from his mistakes. However, in Johto, he was starting to have to think of those actions. In canon, too! Joy.
Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths
+Scott is one of the best fighters in the provence. He knows how to kick and punch, yes. As well as use a sword.
+He can cook.
+When it comes to videogames, he's the best. He knows about the minus world from Mario, man.
+He can also play a mean bass for Sex Bob-omb. Well, he used to, but he still has mad bass skills. Even if the band is gone forever.
+Determination is a huge plus.
Weaknesses
-I'd say he doesn't think ahead, or consider the full consiquences of his actions.
-He can't let go of the past.
-As stated in his personality, there are some aspects of his character he tries to hide. This is a weakness, because it means he never learns from his mistakes.
-He bludges a lot off of Wallace. And I mean a lot.
-Cannot make a cool comeback to save his life.
-Has trouble forming sentences when focused on something else/not thinking normally/really a lot of situations 'i.e: I'm in lesbians with you'
-Did I mention he's slack? Because he's slack.
-Determination can also be a minus, because he gets so focused on some things, it can really get bad for him. Really bad.

Samples
First Person Sample: [So, hello Johto. Have a Scott Pilgrim, inspecting the camera like he hasn't seen it in a long while. A Mudkip was relaxing on his head, and Scott didn't look that happy.]
...You know, I'd be okay with all the time I spent back home if I hadn't lost my badges and Pokemon and stuff! I worked so hard on getting them, and they were awesome! But I guess a year back home is enough for them to hit reset on me - even if it's been a different amount of time here. [Oh gosh, Scott is trying to work out timelines already. Oh, man.]
But guess what? I had some awesome adventures while back home! I found out a lot about what happens in the future, and now it's my past! I guess...
[He's happy again. That's good.]
...Who here remembers me? If you're still here, Todd, I bet I can beat you extra hard! I mean, I beat you back home. Even if I needed help from the Vegan Police, or whatever.
[His voice then lowered a bit, as he averted his gaze from the camera. He had a lot on his mind, knowing how time works here and all - and with a frown, he looked semi-seriously at the camera.]
And, uh, if you're still here, Mac... wanna meet up again, if you're not too far away? I've got a lot I wanna talk to you about. Training partner to training partner. Plus, we can train more!
[You may note, he hasn't mentioned Ramona. He has a good reason for that. A very, very good reason for it. Well, it might have just slipped his mind. WHO KNOWS.]
Third Person Sample: Scott Pilgrim was at a crossroad in his life.
Wasn't that how many people came to Johto? Scott had heard many people had come in during large conflicts... or during their adventures. Last time he'd awoken in his own world, Scott had noted that he didn't seem to have a conflict in his own world. But then he heard of his own future from others - and then he awoke at home, without that knowledge. He'd forgotten his own plans. But it seems that everybody else had forgotten as well. He'd fallen in love, and found his own path though life.
Until he'd lost Ramona, that was. There was still a lot on his mind, and Scott couldn't stop thinking of it. Even as he walked though Route 29, he couldn't get his mind off of home.
That is, until he felt something slam into his legs, clearly irratated. Looking behind him, he saw his new starter standing there. A Mudkip - who he still hadn't named. It wasn't Knuckles. It wasn't even close to Knuckles - a water-type? Sure, it might be useful for later gyms, but not for Bugsy or Falkner. If only he still had the rest of his team...
But the Mudkip looked determined, as she held a piece of paper in her mouth. Spitting it at Scott, she let out a few determined calls. Scott looked at it - it was from the Trainer Handbook. It was the page on gym battles, and training... well, one of the pages on it, anyhow. Reading over it for a few seconds, he then looked back to Mudkip - his frown vanishing, replaced with a grin.
"You're right, Mudkip! Even if I lost everything in my own world... that doesn't mean I can't be the champion here! And then I can find a way to change time back home, too!" Scott proclaimed, Mudkip sitting down, pleased with herself. But then Scott paused. "Y'know, Mudkip... I think I know a good nickname for you. Last time, all my Pokemon were named after video game characters... and I'm gonna continue that. Because videogames are so awesome! Maybe I'll teach you to play..."
Letting out a huff, Mudkip stood once more, listening to Scott ramble on about 'Tetris' and 'Mario' and the like. Seriously, he was obsessed. But she turned to listening again when he mentioned nicknames once more.
"You're gonna be called Waterwraith, because you're pretty deadly to lots of stuff. I guess," he said, with a shrug, "plus, it's just an awesome name. Imagine it, Waterwraith! We're gonna become champs!"
And Scott started to walk off, the Mudkip following with a proud look on her face - but he wouldn't be against being bothered by any other Route 29-ians. People on Route 29. Or over the phone, either. W-WHATEVER.
