Congratulations to all my American friends for making the right choice last night.

I cried like a baby for almost 15 minutes.

I know I have a LOT of republicans on my f-list and I can't say this without sounding condescending even though that's not my intention, but I wish you could see what's going on in your country from another countries ( Read more... )

I found out the results about prop 8 from Stephen Fry...first off how does he know before I do when I live in California but anyway I blame all those soccer moms.. they had their yes on prop 8 stickers on their mini vans months before the election

That's bullshit too. I know plenty of gay couples with children and these kids are turning out smarter, more well-adjusted, and more loved than half the kids in this country right now.

thats the thing that annoys me most, yopu have these fuckin parents who smoke, drink lay on their couch on their computers, dont even take em out, ignore em beat em, whatever the hell it is that makes em bad parents, but a couple of loving lesbians or gay men? Can't give them a kid. Thats just fucked up. I'll admit I am hardly a liberal, but I am when it comes to this stuff.

I'd give Ryan and Jake Gylenhall my own kid before anyone on yours and my friends list combined.

We know how bad it is here but some people just refuse to say so out loud. Usually rich SOB's that aren't struggling to put gas in their cars of feed their families or who can't afford to see a doctor or buy medications.

You have a lot of Republicans on your f-list? Wow - I have only one that I know of out of about 46 - everyone else were Obama supporters.
