It isn’t fair, Tink thinks.
Of course all is fair in love and war, and a part of him knows that Adell and Rozalin are really, truly, in love, but-but it’s still not fair. He squishes the part of him that sees how happy they are, and frowns. He’s the one who’s known Rozalin since they were little, after all, not Adell. He’s the demon with a high-class pedigree! He’s charming and handsome (a completely unmarred face, not like Adell’s messy scars) and can actually dress himself properly in fine suits, with class and style. So why-why is it that Rozalin looks at that brash human with a smile Tink never saw before ( ... )
