Gender Issues in the work place~

As many of you know, I (finally) started a graduate program this year.  I'm rusty and way out of practice in the research department, but am so far muddling through.  I'm currently taking an HR Law class, and am working on my seminar paper.  The topic that I'm writing about is Gender Theory and the Changing Face of Discrimination Law.  Some states ( Read more... )

Hey there... Great topic. If I have ever written anything that rings a bell for you, then just let me know and I'll share with you all that I can. I just don't know that I have anything that would help. Let me know.

Also, check the HRC (Human Rights Campaign) website for loads of info on workplace issues, suggestions, protections, etc...

Thanks so much! I went back and perused some of your old LJ entries from 2006/2007. (Have you done that lately? You have a great ability to manifest your desires!) I'm not sure that what you've shared on your journal relative to gender and the work place is quite the angle that I'm after for this paper, but you have loads of great self-reflection that I could absolutely see using in another class. (Or two, or three. There are a few for which I've read through the syllabus and have some thoughts when I take those classes in the future.) I hope the offer might still be open then? :)

And thanks for the HRC suggestion! I don't think I have them on my list as yet and they're a great resource.
