i think the bottom scroll is there based on the size of your layout. like, it's too wide for a single window or something.

yeah, it's cuz your journal (as opposed to the graphic) is farther over to the right. you'll notice if you expand your window, it moves over some to the right, meaning it's getting closer to where it's written or supposed to be.

Aw, such a pretty layout. I think there might be a CSS trick about getting rid of horizontal scrolls...

I looked through a few pages, but I don't know exactly how your layout is working. I'd mess around with the margins perhaps.
