Proper business terms?

bookwurm says I shouldn't use the term "cubical monkeys" in my PowerPoint presentation for my "Business Concepts for Application Developers" class. She suggested the alternate term "office workers." Can I compromise and say "Office drones?" I know the instructor is a fan of "The Office." (OK, so I'm going to use 'office workers

She's correct: "cubical" would say that the monkeys are either cube-shaped or raised to the third power; whereas I believe you wish to imply that they are inmates of an office, which would make them "cubicle monkeys.". A terribly terribly important distinction, especially to said monkeys!

Assume a perfectly spherical cow cubical monkey ...

1. Given how many of us looked at that and didn't catch it makes it even funnier.
2. Given the nature of many business offices out there, I'm not sure they really care that much about the monkeys.
