I totally, completely utterly LOVE THIS. AND YOU. FOR DOING THIS WITH ME!!!!

I like how you painted the way he sees her - how the details fit into one meaningful big picture. He does see better from a distance, and he sees all of it, all her aspects and more important, he appreciates them. She's something akin. he's drawn to her, not magically, not because she's pretty, but because she's something familiar. <3 ( ... )

Thank *you* for letting me. :) It's been both educational (from a writing perspective) and a blast (from a storytelling perspective. These are themes and ideas that are very, very dear to my heart in regards to these two (particularly the stuff we're getting into now.) And it's just crazy and amazing seeing how their POVs differ so radically sometimes. There are things I really had not anticipated about writing the stories this way, but I'm finding them extremely cool.

I like how you painted the way he sees her - how the details fit into one meaningful big picture. And it's exactly that. Exactly. That's what he does above all else, he sees both the forest and each individual leaf on the tree. And that's critical for understanding her. He has to be able to take all those potentially conflicting signals, tells, quirks, etc. and figure out the shape of the woman at the center of it all. He's one of the few people with the skill to do it. (That's my ( ... )

You guys are killing me with awesome!

My favorite things:

He looks at her and he sees the whole - the maze from the archer's point of view.

He wonders, abruptly, if she's ever come like this, for real, at someone else's hand? The thought that she hasn't, that he is her first and her only, a different kind of virgin, but a virgin nonetheless would put him on his knees if he wasn't sitting down.

He brushes his fingers over it instead, erasing one touch for another, one memory for a better one, and reminding her that she's his. Saying without words that he will always protect her, always have her back. Death cannot have her, because she is already spoken for.

Hee! I think those are my favorite things from it, too! :D

Actually, the Death line might be my favorite thing I've ever written, come to that.

I'm so glad you like it! :D

THANK YOU!!!

That sentiment... it's shown up several places, it's kind of become a trope, but I love it because it works so, so well for them. :)

(how lucky you are, you just might get more when you wake up!) It seems I keep hijacking witchy's entry - but - we'll get a closer look into clint's fascination, and I am equal parts excited and terrified because of that, because the things are about to get.... intense.

bob and bee are such wonderful inspiration. "come to the dark side we have cookies" kind of inspiration! *squishes them*

No lie. ::EG::

(Also I figure you have a right to hijack, especially with this series!)

Nat's part is juuuuuuuuust about done, I think.

Yes. This. :) I want to shower them in cookies for sort of "paving the way" (as it were) for fic that touches on this kind of thing, because then more of us get to play with such ideas! :D

sweet merciful zeus! first it's bob & bee and now it's you & nuna. this woman needs a break from all these feels you know! iCANT.

YAY! :D

the thing i love the most about this, is the origin of his fascination. he acknowledges her outer beauty, but the attraction lies in the dark unknown. this puzzle intrigues. and there's more but i must sleep. this was a great bedtime story! thanks.

Ooo, I will eagerly await the more... and yes, the puzzle! Also in the sympathetic character he sees in her. But we'll get more into that in the next bit. ;)
