Let's see. When I was 22, I was engaged (holy geez, that's almost 2 years ago, damn!). Sure, it was only a couple of months ('til August 2006) but it was something that made me feel very grown up. We talked about our eventual home/apartment, how we'd furnish it, etc., and so on.
But that's not to say I otherwise felt very grown up at 22. I was still playing videogames, still watching anime, still being swept up in whatever was trendy. And it continues today; and that might sound like it bothers me but I have just sort of come to accept that this is a result of the culture in which I've grown up (i.e. here). I am definitely very different from what/where I envisioned myself to be, but it is not necessarily a bad thing. I don't know, maybe I'm still "playing" at being an adult?
