the most real of love is the one that hurts the most. and while it does take a lot of strength to know when something should end, it also takes a lot of strength to choose to stay.
1. false. the truest love isn't supposed to be hurtful, in my opinion. maybe the disagreements or breakup hurt more than any other relationship but not in totality. 2. depends....for long relationships it takes more strength to leave, in my opinion. especially when habits have been formed after so many years.
to quote tom robbins (and i know you like him too), "who knows how to make love stay?"
and
“Love is the ultimate outlaw. It just won't adhere to any rules. The most any of us can do is to sign on as its accomplice. Instead of vowing to honor and obey, maybe we should swear to aid and abet. That would mean that security is out of the question. The words "make" and "stay" become inappropriate. My love for you has no strings attached. I love you for free.”

The second statement is something I still haven't figured out; although, one day, if I do, I'll be sure to tell you.

2. a) true
b) not entirely: choosing to stay? Not all the time.

As for the second one, it's more of an "it depends". I don't think it's a hard and fast rule.
