Last week was a busy week. On Monday and Tuesday I helped with the fifth grade orchestra sign up, which was lots of fun. It was nice to see some of my old teachers, like Mr. Osborne, Ms. Kirtley, and Mrs. Ethridge. Mrs. Ethridge seems a lot happier now than I remember her. I'm glad I got to meet Ms. Stathem, she's really cool. And we (at least ( Read more... )

Hi Arin! I think it's a good idea to drop a class if you are in OYO...I mean, you're right. Senior year is going to fly by really quickly, and you don't want to look back on your time living at home and think, "Oh, I wish I had had time to spend with Gracie and Peyton, and I wish I had spent more time with my grandparents..." While it is great to challenge yourself to prepare for the future, it's also important to remember that life isn't always about getting ready for what is coming up. Sometimes you just have to enjoy what is going on right then. I didn't take AP Euro either, and I don't regret it at all. Do you know where you want to go to college? I miss talking to you!

Love,
Kate!

Hey! Thanks for commenting. I miss you so much, Kate! How is New York?!?!
I think you're right, sometimes you have to live in the present and not worry so much about the future. Sometimes I think I worry about the future so much that I get distracted from the present, which can be bad for the future, lol. I hope we can talk soon!

Aw, I'm sorry about having to drop a class, but I think your dad is right. My parents are actually the exact opposite. They think if I want to do orchestra, I have to be able to handle it on top of everything else I'm doing and I better not even think about slacking off. Hm, whatever.

Anyway, I'm glad your audition went so well and I'm def looking forward to OYO with you every week!!! =D yay! I love Dr. Clinton so much, even though he scares me half to death. =P And I def heart Mr. Huang too. =) haha, anyway....I love you Arin! THanks for updating, I was getting worried. haha.

Lol, I'm glad you care about me updating. I'm sorry your parents are making you do so much. It seems like you've been very studious, though. You do homework like every day at lunch; but I'm glad one of us can be on top of so many things. I miss you! I want to talk to you!
