WORST DAY EVER...KILL ME NOW...I HATE METRA
So...this morning the 7:00 train was delayed for absolutely no good reason by a half hour. I then had to spend all my $ on cab fair after getting into Union Station in a vain attempt to make up for lost time and arrive on time for my first day of work. Which means, no $ for lunch. Wonderful. But I think to myself, whatever, I'll be home by 7

Doing a "job to save the environment" might pay off in the future when you are applying for other jobs... i.e. it looks better then clerk or waitress or something. If you want to look on the bright side: the lack of job security can be used to convince future employers of your high calibur; i.e. if you managed to hold on to a job where everybody leaves after the first three days that is more impressive then hanging onto a job that is easy to hang on to.
Maybe he was just helping you check for ass cancer.
