my favorite word in the whole poem is giraffe. how many other words rhyme with laugh? but all that aside, i think the poem has a lot of potential. it is very light and breezy, and that is good when you are referring to things that sometimes cause you to hurt inside a lot.

annie, it's been fun talking to you this summer. perhaps we will be able to hang out in person once we get back to school. three weeks!

yeah that giraffe part is really ridic. the whole thing is really ridic. i dont know what possessed me to share it with the world. oh well. at least you two enjoyed it to some extent. haha.
