I'm here! Still fiddling with my recording equipment and more-or-less ignoring the singing going on around me.

Freusburg is a really old castle that is now a youth hostel. It resides on a very, very steep hill and from up there you have the loveliest view on the landscape, hills and forrests. You enter a courtyard where, when there at appropriate time, you'd find medival dancing or fire breathing or viking games played or just people to chat. When you enter the castle, you'll be greeted by a knight suit. The castle is big and strongly build, with lots of stairs. The convention mainly takes place in the Musiksaal (music hall), where the concerts take place and the Rittersaal (knight hall) where the meals and most workshops are held, but there is also Lug-ins-Land, where book or CD release parties take place. Also, there are many corner where one can withdraw to do craftswork, drawing, reading or just meet up to talk to people. It really beautiful and my Fernweh becomes almost unbearable this very moment.
