Life & Toku

The post has been good recently, all the books I currently need for this semester arrive in less than a week, all my imported CDs' have arrived, just waiting on a couple of extended reading books to arrive.

Anyways onto the interesting stuff

So we're back at uni, all is mostly well, chasing up lecturers as usual, scored a B for my Origins of Virtue essay and a C for my Analytical Chem exam so reasonably happy with those scores, since they only take your best grades for the year I've got some time to really haul my marks up to where I want them (Solid 'B's across the board) the problems are arising inside the shared house. My other three housemates have been arguing about cleanliness and banging doors stomping around, basically J is complaining about every tiny little thing we do wrong but when one of us tells her something she can't take it.

For example she complains about my making noise early in the morning (I have to be up early sometimes for work and I do my best to make as little noise as possible) but when one of my other housemates (L) tells her she makes a lot of noise stomping around when she gets back late from work (sometimes at one or two in the morning) it's okay and we should just live with it because she's heavy footed.

I hear this from the two housemates who have been arguing with her (A & L), J who's stirring it up has barely spoken to me except to say Hi. I'm trying not to get dragged into it, I frankly can't be bothered to find the energy.

I do feel bad for A especially as she just had a nasty bust up with J that basically ended in J saying that was the end of their friendship. Seriously she would end a friendship just because of a few minor criticisms? A thinks J is being a bit of a drama queen, I have to agree with her there, theres no need for it, we're all stressed and tired (The bin pickup Monday managed to wake us all up at six am) she doesn't need to make an argument for argument's sake. Apparently J has been on the phone to our landlord about moving out.

I don't know what to say to that

Kiva 2: Exciting, interesting plently of potential plot avenues and seriously how cool is Kiva's finisher? It seems theres more to Otoya than just being a ladies man, Yuri certainly doesn't take any crap. Megumi is the one I'm having the problem with. Seriously girl if you're going to fight kick your three inch heels off, they're a damn liability.

Geki 48: I liked this episode. I have gone off the series slightly what with all the Jan & Rio focus, Retsu, Ran and Ken have gotten slightly shafted in the past few weeks whilst Gou keeps getting attention due to his and Rio's past friendship. It will make more sense when the subs are out but it did seem like Mele and Rio were attempting suicide by Gekiranger before Sanyo reappeared.

As for their deaths I think it fits, they realized they would always have to live with the guilt of what they had done and so sacrificed themselves as redemption, their parting scenes warmed my heart, it was good to see Rio finally realizing what he wanted was there all along.

Long coming back? Seriously he's a God, I wouldn't expect anything less and what a way to do it, compunding Rio and Mele's sacrifice.

Roll on 49
